Good Morning Metabolism!

Ask Glen!

Q. Glen,How do I start a healthy lifestyle?

A.The key to a healthy lifestyle begins with a healthy breakfast. A good, hearty meal first thing in the morning is important for refueling your body after a night's sleep. People who skip breakfast experience a drop in blood sugar level, fatigue, irritability and poor concentration throughout the day. Eating a healthy breakfast can raise metabolism by as much as 10 percent. The number-one reason people skip the first meal of the day is time. The truth is, a healthy breakfast can be prepared in mere minutes. A simple bowl of cereal with fruit, a half a turkey sandwich, or a quick smoothie will do the trick.

Glen's Bottom Line: Kick start your morning eat breakfast!
